a very reliable finger mechanism for html.

url is gopher://site.foo.bar:79/0user

that zero has to be there before the username.  at any rate, you'll get
a copy of .plan that way.   much less dependant on other sites than the cgi
finger server.

ObHack: using a cgi-bin script to trick Mosaic with a flood of
Application-Type: lines to send an "inline sound" after the page
has been
transferred.  trouble is, it rarely works on any browser that isnt my own.
not entirely sure why.
