Some of the Macintoshs that I use seem to be infected with some sort of virus called `At Ease'. How does one go about (temporarily) dsinfecting such a Macintosh so that it is not quite as crippled? Obhack: The Ruger 10/22 File Recovery System -- after trying for several hours to install Coherent (an early Unix compatible operating system for PC Compatibles) and receiving a `heap corrupt' message, it was decided that the files needed to be `recovered'. We walked outside, put the disks on a stump, fired ten rounds into the three of them, and felt much better. not much promise as a file recovery system, but improved our attitude tremendously.
