Okay folks, it's time to take BACK the good name of hackers everywhere.

The newsgroup alt.hackers.malicious has been abandoned.  No new posts have
been seen there for weeks and alt.2600, alt.cracks, and alt.crackers all
exist to help out the putzes who believe they need to be a cracker.

Therefore, you can help in this way:  Just as it is possible to create a
usenet newsgroup, it is possible to remove one.  But many servers won't
acknowledge a rmgroup command, or just ignore one.  As a result, not all
groups are removed as they should be.

The solution:  Issue a rmgroup command from as many places as possible.  I
urge you all to do this.  You will not HARM anything by trying and failing
to do this correctly, but you migth help, so please try.

This newsgroup is redundant and inaccurate.  Malicious hackers are known as
crackers and the groups alt.2600, alt.cracks, and alt.crackers cater to
those individuals.  This group has been empty for weeks.
